Nagar Palika , Alirajpur ,is the urban local body responsible for civic administration and infrastructure development in the District.
With a commitment to clean governance, citizen welfare, and sustainable urban growth, the council oversees essential services such as sanitation, water supply, road maintenance, public health, tax collection, and digital governance.
Alirajpur district was carved out from Jhabua district on 17th May 2008. It is located in the Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh, near the borders of Gujarat and Maharashtra. The district features a predominantly hilly terrain, contributing to its rich natural landscape.
A large portion of the population belongs to tribal communities, most of whom live in small villages surrounding the town of Alirajpur. However, the urban population primarily consists of non-tribal (general) communities.
